By Plane
✈️ Nearest Airport: Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is the main airport serving Delhi. It’s pretty close to Dwarka, where Yashobhoomi is located, maybe around 15-20 km (9-12 miles), but Delhi traffic can be a bit wild, so travel time can change.
Getting to the Venue
- Taxi/Rideshare: You can easily grab a pre-paid taxi at the airport or use ride-sharing apps like Uber or Ola. This is a common way to get to Dwarka. Just be ready for traffic – it can get heavy in Delhi, especially during busy times. Agree on the fare with the taxi driver before you go, or check the app for rideshares.
- Delhi Metro: The Delhi Metro is a less stressful way than driving to get around Delhi, and it connects the airport to Dwarka. You’ll want to take the Airport Express Line to Dwarka Sector 21 station. From there, Yashobhoomi is a short auto-rickshaw or taxi ride away. By Train
🚆 Nearest Train Station: New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS) is one of the main railway stations in Delhi. If you’re arriving by train from another city, you can take the Delhi Metro from New Delhi Railway Station (Yellow Line to Dwarka Sector 21, then a short ride to Yashobhoomi) or a taxi/auto-rickshaw to Dwarka.
Old Delhi Railway Station (DLI) is another major station with similar connectivity via the Metro. You can find train schedules and booking info on the Indian Rail website.
By Metro
🚇 The Delhi Metro is likely the easiest way to get to Yashobhoomi if you’re already in Delhi. Take the Blue Line to Dwarka Sector 25 station.

By Auto-rickshaw
🛵 Auto-rickshaws are a common way to travel short distances in Delhi. You can find them easily near metro stations and train stations. Remember to bargain for the fare before you hop in! They’re good for getting from Dwarka Sector 21 or Dwarka Sector 25 metro stations to Yashobhoomi.
By Car
🚗 Navigation: Just type “Yashobhoomi-IICC, Convention Centre, Gate No.6, Sector 25, Dwarka, New Delhi” into Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps.

- Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC): You can try searching online for “DTC bus routes Delhi” for information on bus services, though the Metro is generally more convenient for reaching Dwarka from most parts of Delhi.
- Indian Rail: – For train schedules and booking if you’re arriving from outside Delhi.
Useful Travel Tips:
✔️ Check traffic: Delhi traffic can be intense! Use a navigation app to see how the traffic is before you leave, especially if you’re driving or taking a taxi/rideshare. Give yourself extra travel time, especially during peak hours.
✔️ Get there early: Give yourself plenty of time (at least 1-2 hours) to travel to Yashobhoomi, find your way around the convention center, check in, and warm up. It’s a big place!
✔️ Stay nearby (if possible): If you can find a hotel or accommodation in Dwarka, it will make getting to HYROX super easy. Look for places near Sector 25.
✔️ Carry some cash: While some places might accept cards, it’s always a good idea to have some Indian Rupees (INR) cash on hand for auto-rickshaws, small shops, and just in case.
✔️ Be prepared for crowds: Delhi is a busy city, so expect crowds, especially on public transport.
✔️ Venue Map: Once the event gets closer, check the HYROX website or the Yashobhoomi-IICC website for a map of the venue. This will help you find the HYROX area quickly once you arrive.
