By Plane
✈️ Nearest Airport: Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) is the most common airport for reaching Heerenveen. It’s about 120 km (75 miles) away, so it’s a bit of a drive. There are other smaller airports closer, like Groningen Airport Eelde (GRQ), but they don’t have as many international flights.
🚖 Getting to the Venue:
- Train: This is usually the easiest and most convenient way from Schiphol. There’s a direct train from Schiphol Airport to Heerenveen station. The train journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Rental Car: You can also rent a car at the airport. The drive to Heerenveen takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Just remember that you’ll also have to find parking when you get there.

🚆 Nearest Train Station: Heerenveen train station is the closest station to the venue. Like we said, there are direct trains from Schiphol Airport. You can also get trains to Heerenveen from other cities in the Netherlands. Check the train schedules online.

Once you arrive at Heerenveen train station, the venue is about a 15-20 minute walk, or a short taxi/bus ride.
