🚖 Getting to the Venue:

  • Taxi/Rideshare: Taxis are available at the airport. Ride-sharing services like Uber operate in Taiwan, but their availability can be more limited than taxis. A taxi or rideshare from Taoyuan Airport to the Nangang Exhibition Center typically takes 40-60 minutes, depending heavily on traffic. Be prepared for potential communication challenges if you don’t speak Mandarin. Having your destination written in Chinese can be very helpful, Google translate is a quick and easy way to do this on your phone.
  • Airport MRT & Metro: This is normally the cheapest way. Take the Airport MRT (Taoyuan Metro) to Taipei Main Station. Then, transfer to the Blue Line (Bannan Line, MRT Line 5) and get off at Nangang Exhibition Center Station (南港展覽館站). The journey takes approximately 45-60 minutes in total, including transfers. You can grab your Airport MRT ticket at the airport.

By Train

🚆 Nearest Train Station: Taipei Nangang Station (南港車站) is a major transport hub with connections to the Taiwan High-Speed Rail (HSR), Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) regular trains, and the Taipei Metro. By Metro (MRT)

🚇 Take the Blue Line (Bannan Line, MRT Line 5) directly to Nangang Exhibition Center Station (BL23) (南港展覽館站). The venue is a short walk (a few minutes) from Exit 4 or 5 of the station.
