By Plane
✈️ Nearest Airport: Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is right next door to AsiaWorld-Expo!
Getting to the Venue from the Airport
Since the airport is right there, getting to AsiaWorld-Expo is pretty easy:
- Airport Express: This is a super fast train that takes you from the Airport directly to AsiaWorld-Expo station in just about one minute! It’s really quick and easy. You can find more info and buy tickets on the MTR website.
- Taxi: You can also grab a taxi right outside the airport. The ride to AsiaWorld-Expo will be very short, just a few minutes.
- Bus: There are also several public buses that go to AsiaWorld-Expo. You can check the routes and schedules on the Citybus website. Look for routes that go to AsiaWorld-Expo or the Airport.
By Train (MTR)
🚇 Nearest MTR Station: AsiaWorld-Expo has its own dedicated station on the Airport Express line, as we mentioned above. You can easily get to the Airport Express from other MTR lines by changing at stations like Hong Kong Station or Kowloon Station. Check out the MTR route map to plan your journey.
By Bus
🚌 Several public bus routes serve AsiaWorld-Expo. You can use the website for Citybus to find the best route from where you are in Hong Kong. Just type in AsiaWorld-Expo as your destination.
By Car
🚗 Navigation: Just type “AsiaWorld-Expo, 1 Airport Expo Blvd, Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong” into Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps.

🚙 Parking: AsiaWorld-Expo has parking available, but it can get busy during big events. Arriving early is always a good idea if you’re driving. You can check the AsiaWorld-Expo website for parking information.

- MTR (Mass Transit Railway): MTR website – This is the main website for Hong Kong’s train and subway system, including the Airport Express.
- Citybus: Citybus website – Information on Citybus routes and schedules.
Travel Tips
✔️ Cash & Cards: Most places in Hong Kong accept credit cards, but it’s always good to have some Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) cash on hand for smaller shops or just in case.
✔️ Venue Map: Check the AsiaWorld-Expo website for a map of the venue. This will help you find the HYROX area quickly once you arrive.
✔️ Use an Octopus Card: Get an Octopus card! It’s a reusable stored-value card that makes paying for public transport (MTR, buses, trams, ferries) super easy and often a bit cheaper than buying single tickets. You can buy one at the airport MTR station.
✔️ Check transport schedules: Always check the MTR and bus websites or apps for the latest schedules and any service updates before you travel.
✔️ Arrive early: Give yourself plenty of time (at least 1-2 hours) to travel to AsiaWorld-Expo, find your way around (it’s a big place!), check in, and warm up.
✔️ Stay nearby: While AsiaWorld-Expo is near the airport, there are also hotels in the area if you want to stay close to the venue. You can also easily reach it from hotels in other parts of Hong Kong via the Airport Express or MTR.
