By Plane
✈️ Nearest Airport: Sydney Airport (SYD) is the main airport serving Sydney. It’s about 20-25 km (12-15 miles) from Sydney Olympic Park.
🚖 Getting to the Venue:
- Taxi/Rideshare: You can easily grab a taxi or use ride-sharing apps like Uber or Ola at the airport. Just be aware that Sydney traffic can be pretty unpredictable, so the ride time can vary. Expect a 30-60 minute drive, depending on traffic. Check the fare before you hop in!
- Train: This is usually the quickest and most reliable way to get to Sydney Olympic Park from the airport. Take the T8 Airport Line to Lidcombe Station, then transfer to the T7 Olympic Park Line. Get off at Olympic Park Station, which is right next to the Sydney Showground. Transport NSW is a great page for planning your journey.
By Train
🚆 Nearest Train Station: Olympic Park Station is the closest train station, located right next to the Sydney Showground. The T7 Olympic Park Line connects to Lidcombe Station, where you can transfer from other train lines. Transport NSW has all the train timetables.
