Where is the HYROX Turin Venue?
HYROX Turin will be held at the Oval Lingotto Torino again this year.
The Oval Lingotto, also called the Oval Olympic Arena, is a famous indoor arena in Turin, Italy. Built for the 2006 Winter Olympics, it hosted speed skating events and can hold up to 8,500 people.
The arena was designed by world-class architects Populous and Studio Zoppini Associati of Milan.
After the Olympics ended on 25 February 2006, the Oval Lingotto became a hub for fairs, exhibitions, and events connected to the Lingotto Exhibition Centre.
Although it was designed to host ice skating for 2,000 spectators, it hasn’t had ice since 2007.
The Oval Lingotto’s size, central location, and Olympic history make it perfect for HYROX events.

FAQ’s
Are you allowed to eat during HYROX?
You can eat during a HYROX event only if the food or nutrition is already on your person at the start of the race (for example, energy gels in your pocket or worn in a belt). Competitors cannot accept food or drinks from spectators or others mid‑race, aside from what is provided at the official aid stations. Water and sometimes sports drinks are available at these aid points as you pass through the Roxzone.
What do you need to bring to a HYROX?
For race day, athletes typically bring:
- Race essentials: photo ID, race confirmation/timing chip and bib.
- Comfortable, tested race clothing and shoes suitable for both running and functional stations.
- Hydration (water bottle or hydration pack) for pre‑race and post‑race.
- Energy gels or small snacks that you can carry if you plan to fuel during the race.
- Towel and spare clothes for after the event.
Extras that many athletes find useful include extra socks, warm layers for pre/post race, and small mobility tools.
Can I bring a water bottle into HYROX?
Yes — you can bring your own water bottle or hydration pack with you to the event and use it pre‑race and post‑race. During the actual competition, you can carry your own hydration on your person if it’s with you from the start, but most athletes rely on the official water and drink stations in the Roxzone between runs and stations.
